Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Colligo — the collector intelligence platform for trading card game enthusiasts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and Colligo ("we", "our", "us"). They govern your use of the Colligo mobile app, website at colligo-app.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Colligo.
1Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Colligo. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- By accessing or using Colligo you represent that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Colligo is not available where prohibited by applicable law. It is your responsibility to ensure use complies with local regulations in your jurisdiction.
2Account Registration & Security
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You agree to keep this information up to date.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@colligo-app.com if you suspect unauthorized access or any other security breach.
- We reserve the right to disable your account at any time if we believe your credentials have been compromised or that you have violated these Terms.
3Subscriptions & Billing
- Colligo offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans (monthly, yearly, and lifetime) grant access to premium features including enhanced portfolio analytics, advanced market data, and priority support.
- Subscriptions are processed through our payment provider (Stripe via RevenueCat). By subscribing you authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the applicable rate.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or your device's subscription management page.
- All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our Refund Policy. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods.
- We may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
4Free Trials
- We may offer free trial periods for paid subscription plans. Free trial eligibility is determined at our sole discretion and is generally limited to one trial per user or household.
- At the end of a free trial, your selected plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period expires.
5User Content
- You retain ownership of content you submit to Colligo, including collection data, portfolio entries, trade listings, and community posts ('User Content').
- By submitting User Content you grant Colligo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
- You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
- We may remove User Content that violates these Terms without notice.
6Intellectual Property
- All technology, software, designs, trademarks, and original content within Colligo — excluding User Content — are owned by or licensed to Colligo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- Trading card names, set names, artwork, and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders (e.g., Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Bandai, Konami). Colligo is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Colligo's proprietary materials without our express written permission.
7Prohibited Conduct
- You may not use Colligo for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- You may not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without written permission.
- You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or our infrastructure.
- You may not post or transmit content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or that infringes any third-party rights.
- You may not use the Service to facilitate counterfeit card transactions, market manipulation, or any other fraudulent trading activity.
- Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
8Third-Party Services & Links
- Colligo integrates with or links to third-party platforms (e.g., Firebase, RevenueCat, Stripe, eBay, TCGPlayer) to provide core functionality.
- These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective agreements — we have no control over and accept no responsibility for those services.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of market price data sourced from third-party providers. Prices are estimates for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.
9Disclaimers
- Colligo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Portfolio valuations and market data in Colligo are estimates based on third-party data and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice.
10Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Colligo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Colligo in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $50.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Colligo and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the in-app account settings. Deleting your account terminates these Terms, subject to provisions that survive termination.
- We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to users, us, or third parties.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
13Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Colligo.
- Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property.
14Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page.
- For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a prominent in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
- Continued use of Colligo after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
